Shop notes
A Festool D27 hose tip measures about 35 mm OD, so it plugs straight into a 35 mm EU port. This is the practical reason a Festool hose reaches many Bosch, Makita and DeWalt tools without a Festool-branded adapter.
It works because of the tip OD, not because Festool intends it. The grip is light, so support the hose weight or it walks out of a vertical port.
