About PortMatch

Match any tool dust port to any shop-vac or collector hose, with the exact reducer

Woodworking dust ports and shop-vac hoses use a handful of sizes that almost, but never quite, fit each other. A DeWalt miter saw port, a Bosch sander stub, a 2-1/2 inch shop-vac hose and a 4 inch collector hose all measure different outer and inner diameters. Pick your tool and your hose, and get the measured OD and ID of each end, whether they seal, and the named reducer that joins them.

Port and hose dimensions are compiled from manufacturer and retailer product specifications (Shop-Vac, Rockler Dust Right, Festool, Oneida Air), documented tool-port measurements from woodworking retailers and forums, and the widely-adopted 35 mm European power-tool port convention. Each page cites the specific source for its numbers.

Every dimension here is measured OD or ID from manufacturer data, retailer specifications or documented shop measurements, cited on each page. Fitment is friction-fit, not threaded, so a working seal depends on your exact unit. Measure your own port with a caliper before buying, because the same model can vary and a port that is 1 mm off will leak dust.
