Shop notes
Found on: DeWalt DW735 and DW735X 13 in thickness planers.
The DW735 port measures about 2-7/16 in at the stub, which stretch-fits a 2-1/2 in hose, while the supplied 4 in adapter reads about 3-15/16 in for a 4 in collector hose. A benchtop planer throws a lot of chips, so the 4 in collector path is the one that keeps up.
