Shop notes
Found on: DeWalt DWS779, DWS780, DWS715 and DWS716 sliding compound miter saws.
The dust elbow behind the blade guard is a 1-5/8 in outer-diameter male stub, roughly 41 to 43 mm. A standard 1-1/4 in shop-vac hose is too small to slide over it and a 2-1/2 in hose is too big, so a stepped reducer is the normal fix.
