Shop notes
The SawStop over-blade guard port is a 2-1/2 in outer-diameter male stub, and a 2-1/2 in shop-vac hose ID slides over it directly. The cabinet below the saw runs a separate 4 in collector hose, so the two connections are independent.
Running only the guard hose leaves the cabinet uncollected. The 2-1/2 in guard hose and the 4 in cabinet hose do different jobs and both need connecting for clean cutting.
