Connect a SawStop table-saw rear guard port to a Fein Turbo 35 mm hose
How to join a SawStop table-saw rear guard port to a Fein Turbo 35 mm hose, and what stops it leaking dust.
Not compatible without stepping down. A Fein Turbo 35 mm hose is far larger than the SawStop table-saw rear guard port, so it needs a 2-1/2 in to 35 mm step reducer.

Shop notes
The hose is about 35 mm and the port about 64 mm, a gap of 28 mm, so the port simply swallows the hose with no contact. A 2-1/2 in to 35 mm step reducer is needed, and even reduced the airflow is mismatched between the SawStop table-saw rear guard port and the Fein Turbo 35 mm hose.
Wrapping tape to close a 28 mm gap never seals cleanly and chokes the airflow further. Step the sizes properly, or pair each end with a fitting closer to its own size.
