PortMatchMatch any tool dust port to any shop-vac or collector hose, with the exact reducer

Not a direct fit. Joining the Router table fence port to a 2-1/2 in Craftsman locking hose needs a 2-1/2 in to 2-1/2 in step reducer. Measured OD and ID of each end, the real-world trap, and the exact reducer to buy.

Shop notes

Measured across the joint between the Router table fence port and the 2-1/2 in Craftsman locking hose, the port socket (64 mm) is 6 mm larger than the hose tip (57 mm), so the hose tip rattles inside without gripping. A 2-1/2 in to 2-1/2 in step reducer closes that 6 mm step so the two hold together instead of leaking at the gap.

A 6 mm mismatch feels close enough to force, and it will hold for a minute before it works loose under airflow. Fit the step ring rather than trusting friction on a gap this size.
