Shop notes
The port measures about 30 mm and the hose about 32 mm, only 2 mm apart, so the port seats inside the hose as a friction fit. No reducer is needed for this pairing, so the Fein 30 mm tool port and the DeWalt DWV012 32 mm hose connect directly.
It is a push fit, not a lock. Seat it fully and check it has not crept loose after a few minutes of vibration before you trust it on fine dust.
