Found on: DeWalt corded and cordless miter saws that ship with the black dust elbow, per DeWalt support.
DeWalt support states the miter-saw dust duct is 1-1/2 in on the outside, so a 1-1/2 in hose slips over it, and 1-3/8 in on the inside, so a 1-1/4 in hose slips inside it. That dual dimension is why some owners connect a hose over the port and others push one into it.
