Shop notes

The hose is about 38 mm and the port about 64 mm, a gap of 26 mm, so the port simply swallows the hose with no contact. A 2-1/2 in to 38 mm step reducer is needed, and even reduced the airflow is mismatched between the Portable table saw 2-1/2 in port and the Makita 38 mm hose.
